Rosalind Davis is a graduate from the Royal College of Art (2005) and Chelsea College of Art (2003) and has exhibited nationally and internationally and has work in private and public collections. Davis recently had a solo show at Bruce Castle Museum, London and was Material Matters at the Courtauld Institute. Other solo shows include: The Residence Gallery, 2007; John Jones Project Space & Julian Hartnoll, 2009; and The Stephen Lawrence Centre, 2008. Recently she has been curated in group exhibitions by a number of artist/curators; Jake Clark at the Lion and Lamb Gallery, Harry Pye, Juan Bolivar for ArtKapsule and Ben Coode-Adams and Freddie Robins for Blackwater Polytechnic. Davis has exhibited in a number of commercial, public and artist led spaces, including CoExist, Phoenix Brighton, Art Gene and has been selected for the Crash Open Salon, (2011) The ING Discerning Eye, the Lynn Painters Stainers Prize, The Ludlow Open & UK Young Artists Event (2010).
Davis is also a curator, award-winning blogger, writer, lecturer and creative consultant. She recently contributed to BBC4’s Film ‘Tales of Winter. The Art of Snow and Ice.’ Davis has lectured at the Royal College of Art, University of the Arts, ArtQuest, Universities and organisations across the country.
As a writer she has contributed to The Guardian, a-n, Artlicks and Jotta.
In 2012 Rosalind Davis & Annabel Tilley founded Zeitgeist Arts Projects, an arts organisation created to support ambitious artists.
